MANAGER – CARD MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS

The Manager – Card Management Systems oversees card and switching systems, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with payment schemes like VISA, MasterCard, and LankaPay. Responsibilities include managing the full card product lifecycle, from issuance to transaction processing, while ensuring security, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

CARD SPECIALIST

Focuses on the daily maintenance and support of card management systems and switching applications, ensuring smooth card payment operations. Responsibilities include troubleshooting issues, implementing system updates, and maintaining efficiency. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, proactive in problem-solving, and passionate about the card payment industry.

Qualifications s of the job 

Manager – Card Management Systems

        • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Finance, Business, Operations, or Engineering.
        • Card-related certifications, such as those provided by VISA or MasterCard are strongly preferred.
        • Minimum 3 years experience in managing Prime+ related applications or equivalent card management systems.
        • Minimum 3 years experience in working with payment schemes such as VISA, MasterCard, and CUP.
        • Proven experience in handling and managing card-related (credit/debit) projects.
        • Experience in handling card-related audits and certification processes (Terminal and Host).
        • Comprehensive knowledge of (credit/debit) card transaction flows, including integration with core banking, ATM contracts, NAC, and digital channels.
        • Experience in external audits of systems and e-commerce components in transactions.
        • Knowledge of FCCIDS(Fraud and Compliance Control Information Data System).

Age: Preferably below 40 years as of the application closing date.


Card Specialist

        • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Finance, Business, Operations, or Engineering.
        • Certifications related to card management or compliance are a plus.
        • Familiarity with card management systems such as TSYS, PRIME, and APIs is an added advantage.
        • Minimum 2 years experience in handling card operations and working with credit card providers such as VISA, MasterCard, CUP, and JCB.
        • At least 2 years experience in supporting credit card-related projects and performing simulated testing.
        • Foundational understanding of card management systems and services.
        • Knowledge of credit and debit card transaction flows, including integration with third-party systems like core banking and ATM networks.
        • Basic understanding of PCI DSS and e-commerce (PCI 3DS) components.

Age: Preferably below 40 years as of the application closing date.


Head of Application Systems

        • Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
        • Master of Science or Master of Business Administration (MBA) is preferable.
        • Minimum 15 years of experience in Information Technology, with at least 7 years in a Senior 
        • Managerial position in technology and/or software development, leading technical teams.
        • Detailed knowledge of:

            • Software development tools.
            • Software development methodologies.
            • Agile software technologies.
        • Proven success in:

            • The design and delivery of complex, enterprise-level software applications.
            • Project management.
            • Planning and organizational skills.

Age: Preferably below 50 years as of the application closing date.
