Qualifications:

Must be a Sri Lankan citizen with excellent moral character.
Age must be between 22 and 45 years.
External Candidates: Requires passing G.C.E. (O/L) with six subjects, including four credit passes (for Sinhala/Tamil, Mathematics, and two others) in one sitting, and passing G.C.E. (A/L) with three subjects.
Internal Candidates: Must meet the same G.C.E. (O/L) requirement as external candidates and have completed a minimum of five years of satisfactory service in a permanent post within specified primary-level employee categories.
A certificate in Computing from a recognized institute is considered an added qualification for all applicants.
