Qualifications 

Temporary Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Private & Comparative Law and Temporary Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Commercial Law—require the same qualifications.

Both job postings list the following qualifications:

• LL.B Degree with:
• First or Second Class (Upper Division) Honours, OR
• Second Class (Lower Division) Honours, OR
• No class but with:
• A Doctoral Degree in Law or a relevant field, OR
• A Master’s Degree in the relevant field:
• At least 24 months (full-time) or equivalent part-time with a research component (thesis/dissertation), OR
• A full-time Master’s Degree of at least 18 months with 60 credits, including 15 credits of research.
• Additionally, in both cases, preference will be given to candidates proficient in teaching in both the selected medium and English.

Salary

• Basic Salary: Rs. 49,860/ per month  
• Additional Benefits: Cost of living allowance, UPF (University Provident Fund), and ETF (Employees' Trust Fund)  (01-01-2020.)
