Course: National Tourist Guide Programme 2025
Entry Criteria:
- Must be a Sri Lankan citizen.
- Age: 21-60 years on the application closing date.
- Education:
- Passed G.C.E. A/L in all subjects within two attempts.
- Credit pass in English at G.C.E. O/L (for the English-language National Tourist Guide Programme) OR a UGC-recognized university degree.
- Language proficiency (for Foreign Languages except English):
- Certificate of proficiency (intermediate or advanced) from a recognized institution, OR
- Proof of living and working for at least five years in a country where the language is native.
Special Eligibility Criteria:
- Should have a continuous Service experience of not less than 05 years as a Licensed Chauffeur Tourist Guide or
- Should have completed a tour guiding program at NVQ level 04 Or
- Should have continuous service experience of not less than 08 years as a Licensed area Tourist guide
Fees:
- Course Fee: LKR 150,000.00
- Registration Fee: LKR 1000
- Examination Fee: LKR 1000

- An application fee of Rs. 500 will be charged.

- Upload the payment receipt to the system after making the deposit.
