Qualifications:

Educational: Candidates must have passed at least six subjects with two credits in the G.C.E. (O/L) examination in no more than two sittings. This requirement can be waived if the applicant holds an NVQ Level 3 in the relevant field. Professional: Possession of a proficiency certificate no lower than National Vocational Qualification (N.V.Q.) Level 4 in Plumbing from a Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission recognized institute. General: Applicants must be citizens of Sri Lanka, aged between 18 and 45 years as of the closing date, possess excellent character, and be physically and mentally fit for service anywhere in the island.
