Qualifications:
- Applicants must be Sri Lankan citizens, physically and mentally fit, and of good moral character. For External Applicants: Passed G.C.E (O/L) in six subjects (in one sitting) with credit passes in Sinhala/Tamil, Mathematics, and English. Passed three subjects (other than the General paper) at the G.C.E (A/L) examination (in one sitting). Possess basic knowledge of computer word processing. Age must be between 18 and 45 years. For Internal Applicants: Must be an employee in the Primary Grade/Non-Skilled and Semi-Skilled Service Categories, holding a permanent and confirmed appointment with 5 years of continuous satisfactory service. Passed G.C.E (O/L) in six subjects (not more than twice) with credit passes in Sinhala/Tamil, Mathematics, and English. Completion of a recognized course in computer word processing/typing is considered an additional qualification. The maximum age limit does not apply.
