- Parasitology, Pathology, Pharmacology, Community Medicine, Forensic Medicine, Public Health, Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Psychiatry, Family Medicine, Anatomy, Medical Education, Physiology
- Technical Officer (Grade II) Segment B
- Technological Assistant (Grade III)
- Works Aide (Grade III)
- Laboratory Attendant (Grade III)
- Laboratory Attendant (Grade III) (Department of Anatomy)

Qualifications:
Academic Staff (Lecturer/Senior Lecturer):
- Requires an MBBS degree with SLMC registration.
- Candidates must possess MD/MS where specialization is not specified in the MBBS degree.
- Preference is given to those with an MD or board certification in the relevant specialty.
- Refer to specified UGC circulars for complete details.
Technical Officer (Grade II) Segment B:
- Must have passed G.C.E (A/L) in three Bio-Science or Mathematics subjects in one sitting.
- Passed G.C.E (O/L) with six subjects including credits in Sinhala/Tamil, English, and Mathematics.
- Requires passing an Aptitude Test.
- Age must be between 18 and 30.
Technological Assistant (Grade III):
- Must have passed G.C.E (O/L) with six subjects including credits in Sinhala/Tamil and Mathematics.
- Passed G.C.E (A/L) in any stream (Preference for Science or Maths stream).
- Must hold an NVQ Level 4 or higher certificate of at least six months from a recognized institute.
Works Aide (Grade III):
- Must have passed G.C.E (O/L) in six subjects with at least two credits in one sitting.
- Selection via Trade Test/Interview.
- Preference for candidates with 3 years of relevant experience.
- Age must be between 18 and 45.
Laboratory Attendant (Grade III):
- Must have passed G.C.E (O/L) in six subjects with at least two credits.
- Requires a proficiency certificate of at least NVQ Level 3 and one year of relevant work experience.
- Age must be between 18 and 45.
- For the Anatomy department post, preference is given for experience in an anatomy lab, with 6 months of such experience being a prerequisite for confirmation.

- Lecturer (Probationary) [U-AC 3(IV)]
- Lecturer (Unconfirmed) [U-AC 3(III)]
- Senior Lecturer Grade II [U-AC 3(II)]
- Senior Lecturer Grade I [U-AC 3(I)]
- Senior Lecturer [Grade I] - [DA-2(I)]
- Technical Officer (Grade II) Segment B [U-MT 1(II)]
- Technological Assistant (Grade III) [U-MN 1(III)]
- Works Aide (Grade III) [U-PL 3(III)]
- Laboratory Attendant (Grade III) [U-PL 2(II)]
- Laboratory Attendant (Grade III) - Anatomy [U-PL 2(II)]
