Overview of Rajarata University of Sri Lanka
Rajarata University of Sri Lanka (RUSL), located in Mihintale, was established in 1996 as a national university. It was founded to expand opportunities for higher education in the country, particularly in the North Central Province. The university serves as a hub of academic excellence and regional development.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science (Honors/Special Degree) in Botany/Biology/Applied Biology from a recognized university
- Postgraduate specialization in Botany/Biology (M.Phil or preferably Ph.D.)
