Qualifications & Experience:
External Candidates:
Option 1:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences (recognized by UGC)
- AND a Master’s degree or Associate Membership of a recognized Chartered institute (relevant field)
- AND 15 years of managerial experience in the public/private sector
Option 2:
- Full Membership of a recognized professional Chartered institute (relevant field)
- AND 15 years of managerial experience in the public/private sector
Option 3:
- Class I Officer in Sri Lanka Administrative Service (SLAS)
- AND educational qualifications under Option 1
Internal Candidates:
- Meet external candidate qualifications
- OR have 5 years satisfactory service in MM Grade I (relevant field)
Salary:
- Scale: HM 1-1-2025 (Rs. 140,640 – 15x4,100 – 202,140) + approved allowances
- Circular: DMS No. 01/2025
General Conditions:
- Must be a Sri Lankan citizen with good moral character
- Physically and mentally fit
- Entitled to EPF & ETF
- Government officers must apply through department head
