Position: Director (Administration & Finance)
Organization: Human Rights Commission


Qualifications & Experience:


External Candidates:


Option 1:
      • Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences (recognized by UGC)
      • AND a Master’s degree or Associate Membership of a recognized Chartered institute (relevant field)
      • AND 15 years of managerial experience in the public/private sector

Option 2:
      • Full Membership of a recognized professional Chartered institute (relevant field)
      • AND 15 years of managerial experience in the public/private sector

Option 3:
      • Class I Officer in Sri Lanka Administrative Service (SLAS)
      • AND educational qualifications under Option 1

Internal Candidates:

      • Meet external candidate qualifications
      • OR have 5 years satisfactory service in MM Grade I (relevant field)


Salary:

      • Scale: HM 1-1-2025 (Rs. 140,640 – 15x4,100 – 202,140) + approved allowances
      • Circular: DMS No. 01/2025


General Conditions:

      • Must be a Sri Lankan citizen with good moral character
      • Physically and mentally fit
      • Entitled to EPF & ETF
      • Government officers must apply through department head
      • Only shortlisted candidates will be interviewed
      • All certificates to be submitted with application
      • Qualifications must be completed by closing date
      • Appointment by Board of Commissioners
      • Salary placement per Establishment Code for internal candidates
