Educational Qualifications: 

 Lecturer (Probationary): 

• Bachelor’s Degree: 
• BSc (Hons) in Microbiology with First or Second Class (Upper Division) OR 
• BSc in Microbiology with Second Class (Lower Division) OR 
• BSc with Microbiology as a subject 

And

• MPhil or PhD in Environmental/Industrial Microbiology OR 
• Master’s Degree in Environmental/Industrial Microbiology with 24+ months of full-time research 

Lecturer: 

• Must meet all qualifications for Lecturer (Probationary) 
• Experience (Less than 6 years) in one or more of the following: 
• University level teaching 
• Professional experience 
• Research in a recognized institution 
•  Postgraduate studies 

 

Salary & Allowances: 

•  Lecturer (Probationary): Rs. 163,254 per month + Cost of Living Allowance 
•  Lecturer: Rs. 221,960.20 per month + Cost of Living Allowance
