The Ministry of Education, North Central Province, has announced vacancies for Principals in 418 provincial schools categorized under 1AB, 1C, Type 2, and Type 3. Applications are invited from qualified Principals serving in the North Central Province
Eligibility Criteria:
- Must have active and satisfactory service in the Sri Lanka Principal Service.
- Should have received all annual salary increments within the past five years and have a satisfactory physical fitness level.
- Must have completed five years of satisfactory service before the application deadline.
Application Process:
- Applications must be submitted using Form 01 (downloadable from www.cm.nc.gov.lk or www.edncp.lk on A4 paper (12"x8").
- Certified copies of NIC, Birth Certificate, and qualification certificates should be attached.
- Applications must be sent via registered post to:
- Secretary, Chief Ministry, Provincial Council Complex (5th Floor), North Central Province, Anuradhapura.
- The envelope should be marked "Application for Principal Positions in North Central Province" on the top-left corner.
- Late, incomplete, or unqualified applications will be rejected without notification.
Selection Process:
- Candidates will be selected based on structured interviews conducted by a selection board appointed by the North Central Provincial Ministry of Education
- Selection will be based on interview scores, competencies, and available vacancies.
Special Notes:
- Candidates must fulfill all eligibility criteria by March 5, 2025.
- Preferences for all 418 schools must be ranked.
- If any candidate is found ineligible at any stage, their application will be canceled.
- Final placement decisions will be made by the Secretary of the North Central Provincial Education Ministry.
