Airport & Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) (Private) Limited (AASL) is the state-owned enterprise responsible for managing and operating all civil airports in Sri Lanka. Functioning under the Ministry of Ports, Shipping, and Aviation, AASL oversees airport operations, air traffic control, passenger and cargo services, and infrastructure development. It manages key airports, including Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA), Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport (MRIA), and Jaffna International Airport (JIA), ensuring compliance with international aviation standards. Technical Officer (Mechanical)
Job Scope:
- Perform corrective maintenance, preventive maintenance, and mechanical installation works.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnosing breakdown causes and performing repairs.
- Planning and executing maintenance tasks.
- Handling mechanical systems and procurement of spare parts.
- Preparing development drawings and specifications.
- Working with CAD applications (Revit, SolidWorks) and BIM models.
Qualifications:
- National Diploma/Higher National Diploma/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Minimum three (03) years of post-qualification experience in a reputed organization.
Selection Process:
- Written test and interview.
Technical Officer (Civil)
Job Scope:
- Supervise and ensure quality control of construction and maintenance works.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise day-to-day operations and attend fault reports.
- Prepare material lists, technical specifications, and BOQs.
- Maintain technical records and oversee construction quality.
- Handle site supervision, contract administration, and budget preparation.
- Manage solid waste and labor administration.
Qualifications:
- National Diploma/Higher National Diploma/Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Minimum three (03) years of post-qualification experience in a reputed organization.
Selection Process:
- Written test and interview.
Technical Officer (Landscaping)
Job Scope:
- Beautify and maintain gardens, access roads, holiday bungalows, and terminal interiors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify plant changes, apply agrochemicals, and maintain ornamental features.
- Design and implement landscaping plans, irrigation systems, and tree pruning.
- Coordinate with other departments and execute eco-friendly landscaping techniques.
Qualifications:
- National Diploma/Higher Diploma in Landscaping/Horticulture/Agriculture (NVQ Level 6).
- Minimum three (03) years of post-qualification experience in a reputed organization.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, 3D Max, and Lumion is an advantage.
Selection Process:
- Written test, Computer-based Landscaping test, and interview
